This handbook is the result of a collaboration between faiplay and the Institute for Children’s Rights and Parent Education (IKEB) within the framework of the Working Group (ARGE) Sport and Integration and the project “Diversity in Sport”. It is based on national and international research results as well as on findings from practice, which were collected in the course of research work as well as numerous activities in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another important basis was the project “Sport and integration – factors in sport that inhibit and promote integration”, which was carried out by fairplay together with the IKEB and the Intercultural Center (IZ) within the framework of the European Integration Fund (EIF). The project investigated the role of coaches in working with intercultural teams and the factors that facilitate or hinder this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, this handbook for the first time incorporates findings from the Good Practice Guide of the European network ESPIN – Sport Inclusion Network. Last but not least, the practical part is based on experiences from workshops that fairplay has conducted in recent years with participants from various sporting environments.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
