{"id":9073,"date":"2022-11-14T20:46:32","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T19:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edu.fairplay.or.at\/?page_id=9073"},"modified":"2023-04-05T12:39:33","modified_gmt":"2023-04-05T10:39:33","slug":"workshops-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fairplay-education.at\/en\/workshops-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The fairplay workshop for children and youth combines education and movement.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container\" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"fairplay education - Workshops f\u00fcr die ZTE HLA Meisterliga Westen\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TMq6EaETuQg?start=27&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The contents are brought closer in a playful way and are designed interactively &#8211; work in small groups, discussions and lectures alternate with movement methods and games.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops are conducted by trained fairplay workshop leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sustainable Development Goals Module<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Content and game-based exercises on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (17 goals for sustainable development) and their connections to sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Module anti-discrimination<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Playful learning of important terms (racism, discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes, refugee, migrant, homophobia, etc.) and showing examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Movement methods module<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Exercises from everyday training are linked with content here. Based on self-awareness in the exercises, the topics of fair play, team spirit, respect and social inequalities are addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Module queerplay<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the participants are introduced to the contents of homophobia and gender. The goal is to promote diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Human Rights Module<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Major sporting events such as world championships and the Olympics will be examined in terms of their positive and negative effects on society. In the workshop, local and global contexts will be established.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rebels of Change Module<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In this module, participants learn more about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and explore sustainable action strategies in sport and beyond.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairplay.or.at\/fileadmin\/Bibliothek\/Fairplay\/images\/ROC\/RoC_Modul_fertig.pdf\">Download Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These modules are flexible and can be booked for a fairplay workshop as needed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key data<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age: <\/strong>10-16 years<br><strong>Location: <\/strong>in a larger room or at the sports field<br><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 2-3 hours<br><strong>Number of participants: <\/strong>15-20 (for orientation)<br><strong>Materials: <\/strong>Balls, overshoes and marking hats, music, paper, pens and flipchart.
